On March 29, 2017, Qidong Offshore Shipbuilding Industrial Park held an industry-university-research and talent matchmaking meeting at Tongji University in Shanghai. The main leaders of Qidong Offshore Shipbuilding Industrial Park, relevant persons in charge of Qidong Talent Office, Science and Technology Bureau, Matchmaking Office, experts and professors from Shanghai universities and invited business leaders attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Yao Haiyan, chairman of the town's People's Congress.

Xu Yonghui, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Park, and Secretary of the Party Committee of Yinyang Town, addressed the event. Comrade Huang Hongchun, director of the park management committee and mayor of Yinyang Town, gave a relevant introduction on Qidong's talent policy, investment environment, and enterprise development. Professor Zhu Qirong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Aerodynamics of Shanghai Tongji University, and Zhang Zhen, assistant to the dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Automation of Shanghai University, delivered speeches respectively.

Nantong Landau Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Tongji University signed an on-site cooperation agreement for production, education and research.
